Rihanna’s fashion shoot for Glamour magazine US in the streets of Barbados

On location on her home island of Barbados, Rihanna was not only enjoying the “Crop Over Festival” in the streets of Barbados, (it is like carnival time in Rio, just slightly smaller), but also back to work the next day.
For the November issue of the US edition of GLAMOUR magazine, she was posing in front of the camera of photographer Terry Tsiolis wearing the latest fall fashion. ‘Creative Director Fashion’ Anne Christensen from Conde Nast, New York, was responsible for the fashion as well as for the location selection. Mel Ottenberg, Rihanna’s favorite Stylist was responsible for the right look.
The whole photo production took place in typical Caribbean locations like local small town streets, locations overlooking the sea and in old-fashioned rum bars with lots of patina.
Rihanna was joking with some old rum drinking men in their local bar, who obviously enjoyed the unusual photo production spectacle around them.
With our local Caribbean crews we were taking care of the organization of locations and the complete production part of the photographic shoot.
After the photo shooting we shot a video with Rihanna. In that interview she talks about future projects. Click here to watch the video.
